So I'm going to be shooting my friend's senior portrait, and I was wondering if you guys had any tips, suggestions, etc. on how to make them look really good and creative.

Thanks! Very Happy

Tip #1... ALWAYS be open to their ideas. Smile
Tip #2 Regardless if you like how your photo turned out... DON"T SAY anything negative about it!
Tip #3 Whatever position feels comfortable for them is usually what their pose will look best in. If there is a pose you would like to do with them...and it feels awkward for them...but looks really good...show them the photo after you take it. Smile
Tip #4 Basically just have a good time and the photos will turn out great Smile
Tip #5 If walking towards one spot to get a certain photo, be on the lookout as you walking for more places
Tip #6 Different scenery is always good. Smile Different lighting in same scenery also. And different poses in same scenery.
And finally... don't spend too long with one shot/pose/place if possible. Smile

...Those are just tips that helped me when I did my first senior portrait shoot. ^_^ Have fun! bounce
