Water Falling
So I decided it's about time for me to actually post some photos, instead of just lurking around everyone else's.
Last time I was up P-town way, we toured the falls and my camera was pretty much brand new. I dropped my shutter speed, made friends with a salamander, and had to jump off a cliff to get my wandering lens cap back (but that's another story), so all in all it was a good day.

Thanks chapesses!
Somewhere in between, I think. If I remember right, it's one of LR's b&w presets, just warmed up a little.

Ohhh... I miss Multnomah Falls! I've been there so many times. Now I live a couple hundred miles too far... sadness.
Love the salamander! If it were just a bit sharper, it would definitely be a winner!
Gooooooood stuff!

What lens did you use for the macro? What lens[es] did you have with you that day?

Re: Water Falling
Couple hundred miles? Compared to me, that's close.
Just a kit lens...18-55, I believe. I'd love for the salamander to be sharper, too, but I was holding him on my left hand, shooting with my right, and he kept wandering around....so it was a bit tricky.

Re: Water Falling
Not bad for the 18-55.
I live not quite an hour from the California border.
I used to live in the Portland area.
Hiking in Oregon is pretty close to the the best.

Re: Water Falling
Heheheh, thank you.
I know that border well...we've already driven over it three times this year, and we'll be going over again pretty soon. I-5 and I are old friends.
