Why won’t the stupid fax machine turn on?

Here are a few fun pictures I took of a couple friends of mine. The pictures aren’t the best, but they were fun and really capture the guy’s personalities. I really wish I had Adobe Lightroom: I really need something good for color editing. Oh well…
I just snapped away while walking to their house with them.
(no, the title has nothing to do with the pictures.)

I was going to say; "What the heck is David doing in the first picture?!" And then, thanks to Devin, I realized what was happening..and then I decided not to comment any further.

I like the one with the couch. And the pole one...he has really pretty eyes
And I like the one of Devin on the bridge.

David has amazing eyes. I find it hard not to be jealous.
I love the one of Devin on the bridge! As soon as I took it I was like "oohh man this is a winner!"
I like the one with them hanging on the dead end sign, that one took soooooooo long to edit because there were two light poles, and TONS of wires in the background!
Probably my second favorite of Devin is the sun flare one.

Haha those are hilarious Josh. I remember you telling me about them on the phone but now I actually see what you were talking about, and yes Josh you did an awesome job editing the one with the dead end sign.

One thing I'd do differently is take the head shot (hehe) vertical instead of horizontal...you don't need the extra space on the side, and his forehead and chin are crowded.

But catchlight win! I like the half-face/half-pole....there's tension and whatnot. Have you tried it in black and white?

I think the photo with the yellow sign w/ the guys yellow shirts makes for a very coordinated and fun picture.

Yeah, but the lighting is a bit flat and it loses some dynamic (I think)
