I like the background. It gives the picture lots of personality.
I always find it funny how the background makes or breaks a picture.

The background DEFINITELY made this picture what it is. It's the bottom of our [dried up] pond.
A lot of people only care about the Subject when they take a picture, but the background/foreground are just about, if not equally important.
Ha! I like my knife too much! My mom is always getting on me for cleaning it all the time!

And yes, I agree, backgrounds a lot of times totally make the picture...and the background on this is amazing.
Though that one blade of grass on top of the tip of the blade is bothering me. oh well...still one of the most amazing pics ever!
