Tested...but proved?
So.
I have been reluctant to bring my camera out into the rain and such.
But a few days ago I really went beyond going out into the rain with it.
It was raining. Hard. I mean really pouring outside and I suddenly felt the urge to
run around in the forest and just get as muddy as possible. I dragged Jacob and Joel out with me(they were more then glad to come. Though Joel asked me why I wanted to get dirty.)
I got out into some rather deep puddles, and just looking at those puddles...woah. I really had the desire to bring my camera out there and take photos. But I was afraid to bring it out there. I mean it was muddy. Muddy and wet. But finally I could resist the temptation no longer, and I brought my camera out.
I did everything.
I ran around through brush.
I stomped through puddles.
I did the stomach-crawl (or whatever it's called) along the muddied path
And yes. I even fell backward into a 4-inch deep mud puddle. (I was the 'T-rex' and Jacob shot me).
All while holding my camera. (I was filming not taking photos at this time).
After going inside (and having Sonia yell at me for tramping mud all through the house) I checked my camera.
It was in perfect shape still! (Other then a little dent on the lens protector. But hey. That's what it's for.)
KUDOS TO CANON 7D! Amazing camera. Amazingly water (and mud) proof.
Tested.
And yes
Proved.
The End
