See. Sprint. Snap.

Post  little.sureshot on Fri Nov 12, 2010 9:02 pm

A couple of days ago, I happened to look out my window and I saw light and color happening. I snatched up my camera and sprinted - yes, literally sprinted - across the park to the top of the hill. I made it just as the sun touched the ocean.

I was really glad I sprinted. Smile

It is for this reason, and this reason alone that I sometimes wish that I lived in California...

Awesome job!

Only one reason? That's kind of sad...Don't you like good Mexican food?

Mexican Food? My mom makes incredible Mexican food! Besides, if I want amazing Mexican food besides my moms, I would go to a.) Mexico or b.) San Antonio. San Antonio, mmmmmmm, you eat amazing food while the Mariachi band sings away with power and conviction! ::sighs:: I miss it. :)

San Antonio? San Antonio?!? That's Tex-Mex! Very much not the same at all. (That was grammatically garbled.) But still, you can't really wolf down a bean and cheese burrito on a beach in San Antonio...

The place I ate at wasn't Tex-Mex!

True, but have you ever seen the Oregon Coast? Aha! I win!

I must say, my grandma lived in Dana Point, about a mile from the Harbor: I would give A LOT to live there.

::still looks vaguely suspicious:: The beans weren't from a can, were they?

Yes, I have. Haystack Rock with IPS for the win. (Mario! Tweasure!) And it is quite gorgeous. My main complaint is that you can't play in the water without limbs falling off or at the very least going numb.

Aah, by Capistrano? I haven't been up there.

Are you kidding? I'm an expert ocean-swimmer, I do it for hours and the cold doesn't stop me! Annnnnnnnd, Alyssa is my only friend with the guts to go with me. =) <3

Well, pardon me for trying to defend what's left of my state's honor. X) I guess you'll all just have to come visit me to see the truth in my words.

Well, Jennete, I will admit I Do like California. And, believe me, I am not a fan of either Washington OR Oregon. Wink
Neither of 'em are my state.

I like the top one, the middle one has those annoying telephone lines.
